About the Role We have two new Infrastructure Investment Planning Officer positions available at Main Roads. These roles play an important part in influencing the future of our capital works program. This is an exciting time as we establish the new Transport Investment Strategy Office and respond to a changing funding environment, which places a renewed focus on ensuring robust and rigorous infrastructure investment planning and project evaluation processes.
These positions are available for immediate start in our Investment Planning team which works primarily on Main Roads projects. This team works with other areas of the Transport Investment Strategy Office and across Main Roads to prioritise, evaluate and prepare funding submissions for major priority unfunded projects on the State road network.
As an Infrastructure Investment Planning Officer, you will assist with the prioritisation of unfunded investment proposals by undertaking research and analysing data, managing critical information, and preparing draft funding submissions. You will demonstrate skill and experience in building effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders to collect information and support investment planning processes.
In these positions, you will play a significant role in guiding our major infrastructure investment program to ensure that it is aligned with our strategic drivers and provides economic and social benefits to the community.
