Position Description CGI are currently looking for multiple NV2 Cleared Satcom Engineers to come and join our growing team in Sydney.

Our in-depth space sector knowledge and our contribution to major technical advances ensure that we contribute to many of the world's most prestigious space programmes, including Cassini-Huygens, Galileo, Copernicus, Inmarsat 4, MSG, MTG, MTSAT, Rosetta, Skynet and XMM-Newton.
Our software has supported the missions of more than 200 satellites.
Your future duties and responsibilities The Satcom Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of satellite communication systems.
This role requires a highly skilled professional with experience in satellite communications and the ability to work within a secure environment.
Design, configure, and maintain satellite communication systems and networks Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate new solutions Ensure compliance with security protocols and standards Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for system designs, configurations, and procedures Conduct regular system tests and updates to ensure reliability and efficiency
Required qualifications to be successful in this role - Minimum of 1 year of experience in satellite communications- Understanding of RF, satellite link budgets, and modulation techniques- Experience with satellite communication hardware and software- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Ability to work effectively in a team environment- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one Together, as owners, let's turn meaningful insights into action.
