As an Infrastructure engineer specialising in Networking and Security, you will play a vital role in ensuring the operation and integration of Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) systems.
You will ensure the seamless and secure operation of technology systems, optimise performance, swiftly address any technical challenges that arise, and actively contribute to various projects.

What you will be responsible for:
You will be responsible for configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Fortinet firewalls and ensuring robust security policies are in place.
You will regularly review and update firewall rules to align with best practices and evolving security threats.
You will implement and optimize SD-WAN solutions to enhance network performance, reduce latency, and ensure seamless connectivity between branch offices and data centres.
Additionally, you will develop and enforce network security protocols, including intrusion detection/prevention, secure VPNs, and encryption, to protect against cyber threats.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

What you will bring to the role:
Proven experience with Fortinet firewalls and SD-WAN solutions ITIL foundations Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Proficient in networking and security best practices Understanding of web server management and encryption techniques Familiarity with Windows OS, Active Directory, and Group Policy Strong scripting skills, particularly using PowerShell About working with Valrose - We listen.
