Infrastructure Engineer

Build Maintain Recruit are working with a regional consultancy with 4 offices based around the South West.
They re now in the market for a Infrastructure Engineer/Designer to join their team on a permanent basis.
This role offers the chance to apply your expertise across a diverse range of projects, from small highway upgrades to large-scale residential and commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities: Designing infrastructure for a variety of commercial and residential developments, both large and smallLeading designs from initial appraisal through to planning and detailed design, including infrastructure, external works, and drainageApplying a strong understanding of highway and drainage design standardsProficient use of relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Site3D, and Micro DrainageEnsuring adherence to Health and Safety standards, including CDM regulationsEffectively managing time and maintaining detailed project recordsJob Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering or a related fieldPost-graduate experience in a consultancy environmentComprehensive knowledge of highway and drainage design standardsExpertise in drainage standards, including Sewers for Adoption, Sewerage Sector Guidance, Code of Adoption Agreement, and CIRIA SuDS Manual (C753)Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Site3D, and Micro DrainageStrong organisational and time management skills, with a solid grasp of standard engineering practicesBenefits
