We have an opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer as a technical specialist within the ICT Operations team to join one of our delivery partners.
The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for managing and resolving complex technical incidents and problems within the ICT environment, as well as providing technical advice.
The ideal candidate will have experience with both on-premises and cloud technology and will work across teams with other technicians in network, storage, platforms, backups, or unified communications.
Responsibilities The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for delivering operational outcomes through:
Work across infrastructure teams to support incident and problem resolution Provide technical expertise and advice to senior management Producing and reviewing project/services delivery documentation including Architecture, Designs, 'As built documentation' and Operating Procedures.
Configuration and installation of all server hardware, including installation of the operating system and third-party products onto the system.
Support to cloud operations and Microsoft Office 365 products Implementation, management, and maintenance of a range of email and unified communications technologies.
Required Skills And Experience The successful candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and experience:
Should have skills and understanding of: Citrix administration VMware RSA authentication manager Experience with thin clients Certificate Infrastructure Active Directory Microsoft Server build and deploy Linux Server technologies Windows Powershell Due to the nature of this role, this job is open to Australian Citizens only.
Candidates would need to have an NV1 clearance or who have applied for their Security Clearance.
