We do this by offering a range of services and solutions.About the roleThe Infrastructure Consultant provides IT infrastructure solutions for our clients. The Infrastructure Consultant will participate in the build, implementation and ongoing support across the technology stacks of our clients.The Infrastructure Consultant is responsible for:Project Design and Implementation; ensure quality design and delivery of projects from end to endLead and guide the rectification of production issues. Liaise with vendors to ensure issues are resolved within agreed SLAs.Implement changes into production systems using established change management practicesPerforming activities including but not limited to:Regular patching and upgradesCapacity management reportingEstablish and monitor environment health checksRespond to and action client ticketsCollaboration with other portfoliosParticipate in a 24x7 rotating on call roster as requiredWork in project teams to establish infrastructure and server environments to support new applications and system roll outsEducation and ExperienceTertiary Qualifications (completed or completing) in Information Technology, Business, Science, Engineering or Economics coupled with relevant professional qualificationsDemonstrated experience in engineering and supporting medium to large IT infrastructure environments end to endKnowledge and SkillsStrong communication skills to be able to converse with both end-users and internal/external stakeholders at all levels.Experience with hypervisors including VMWare & NutanixNetwork Infrastructure including Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Network Protocols (BGP, HSRP, VRRP).
