Our client is a multi-disciplinary team comprising civil and traffic engineering, landscape architecture, asset management and geospatial. Through diversity in both knowledge and background, our client support and collaborate with each other to provide creative and pragmatic solutions to enhance our communities.
The Role
This position requires hands-on delivery of strategic projects, whilst overseeing and utilising the wider Operational Asset Management, meaning data capture, asset audits, managed services provision etc.
A significant part of this role is the management of existing clients needs and their asset management journey and support thereof.
Additionally this position is responsible for building on the existing strategic assets team and generating business through new or existing clients with the aim of continued delivery of our client's core Asset Management offering, with the support of Directors and existing team.
About you
You are a motivated professional who is strategic, analytical, agile, and able to deliver various Strategic Infrastructure Asset Management projects across a variety of organisations.
You will provide consultancy services to Local Government, State Government, Not for Profit organisations and the private sector for the management of their infrastructure assets.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing asset management strategies and plans to ensure the efficient and effective operation, maintenance, and renewal of infrastructure assets.
The ideal candidate will have:Bachelor's degree in engineering, infrastructure management, or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure asset management, preferably in a consulting role.At least 2 years of experience in direct management / overseeing of staff in an organisation hierarchy.Must have a strong understanding of ISO 55000 as well as supporting documentation such as the International Infrastructure Management Manual (IIMM).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
