Job Title: Infrastructure and Places Commercial Advisory - Senior Consultant / Manager

We deliver strategic projects and commercial advice and solutions to enable planning, delivery, and operation of major infrastructure projects and programs across a range of priority portfolios including energy, transport, housing, health, education, and others.
Working with both government and non-government clients, you will work alongside Ashurst's Projects & Energy Transition, Real Estate & Property legal teams to bring a unique and market-leading approach to advising and supporting clients to navigate complex strategic commercial issues throughout the infrastructure lifecycle.
As a result of establishing and growing our team, we are looking to hire a Specialist (equivalent to a Consultant / Senior Consultant / Manager in Big 4 consulting) with commercial advisory experience in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane.
You will be responsible for delivering commercial solutions, providing effective communication to clients, maintaining key Ashurst and client relationships, and contributing to the growth and development of the Risk Advisory practice and Infrastructure, Places, and Capital Projects team in Australia and globally.
You will also support business development activities, including tendering, to build the profile of the firm and yourself.
About You:
You have 3-5 years of infrastructure and/or property advisory experience, ideally within a consulting environment, and are comfortable supporting clients on commercial issues relating to major public infrastructure and/or property projects to ensure project success.
Candidates with experience in risk advisory, property development/advisory, engineering, strategy, finance/financial advisory, and/or economics are also encouraged to apply.

Experience in the infrastructure, projects, or property industry is essential.
You're a self-starter who is keen to work in a fast-paced environment that is always evolving and requires you to be proactive, adaptable, and humble.
You have proven experience delivering high-quality work for clients and stakeholders in line with expectations and deadlines.
You're confident in autonomously finding solutions to a range of problems, especially those related to risk management, in a commercial and client-focused way.
You have exceptional written and verbal communication with a focus on attention to detail. You will have experience writing a range of business documents including reports, letters, and proposals.
You have experience providing the highest quality service to clients and fostering professional and commercial relationships with a range of stakeholders.
