In the role of Technical Test Lead, you will be responsible for:
Developing test strategies and plans based on project requirements. Leading test execution and defect management. Implementing and maintaining automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, etc. Mentoring and guiding team members. Contributing to creating solutions and approaches for proposals on QA for our customers. Skill / Experience Requirements: Academics and Work Experience: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 6-10 years of experience in Information Technology. Tertiary Qualification in IT/Computer Science/related discipline. Must Have Skills: Strong experience in UI, API Automation using Selenium (JAVA), Rest Assured, and Postman. Hands-on knowledge of using Playwright tool for UI automation testing using Typescript, Javascript. Good understanding and experience in creating robust automation frameworks that are reusable and easily maintainable. Experience in API automation testing. Ability to independently create, execute, and maintain comprehensive automation frameworks. Experience in BDD/TDD using tools like Cucumber, Serenity, and Playwright-BDD. Experience in scripting/development (JAVA, J2EE, PL/SQL, Perl, Shell, Python, etc.). Experience in Code Coverage tools like Jacoco, JSCover, Sonar, etc. Experience with build automation tools such as Maven, Gradle. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Bamboo. Experience with version controlling tools like GitHub, Bitbucket. Experience with project management tools like JIRA, ALM, Rally. Ability to efficiently lead a team of automation testers in an onshore/offshore model. Demonstrated experience managing and building effective working relationships at all levels of an organization. Strong communication skills and good at stakeholder management. Nice to Have Skills: Exposure to latest trends in Quality Engineering, like RPA, Analytics driven testing, usage of AI/ML in QA. Knowledge of GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot. Experience with mobile automation solutions like UFT Mobile. Please note that Infosys does not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party vendors.
