A Brisbane-based government department is seeking an experienced Information Strategy Lead to drive strategic initiatives and lead the transformation of its information management (IM) capabilities.
This role is part of a large, complex IM program designed to leverage contemporary ICT solutions, optimise IM processes, uplift IM culture and improve information governance.
Role Requirements: Lead the uplift of information governance capabilities, including roles like Information Asset Custodians and Stewards.Develop and mature capabilities such as Information Asset Lifecycle Management.Oversee the creation and refinement of governance policies, standards, and procedures.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment of information management policies, processes, and people.Contribute to refreshing the multi-year IM Strategy and Roadmap.Deliver key IM Program initiatives on time and within scope using PRINCE2 methodologies.Manage risks, issues, scope, quality, and resources effectively.About You: 5+ years of experience in strategic roles within enterprise-level information management programs.Proven ability to develop fit-for-purpose strategies for large, complex government departments.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative approach.Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build consensus across diverse groups.Flexible and adaptable, thriving in high-pressure, dynamic environments.Experience in regulatory environments.To apply, please click the 'Apply' button to submit the most recent copy of your resume and cover letter.
