Management (Information & Communication Technology)Full timeOperating as a trusted Information Services business partner, you will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer with responsibility for leading a small, stable and experienced IS team to proactively provide a range of day-to-day key services to internal stakeholders and an extensive external 'customer' base.Collaborating with and providing support to the Program Manager leading the implementation of a multi-year, organisation-wide Digital Transformation Strategy is involved. In this regard, you and your team will contribute valuable insights and recommendations to the full range of project planning, delivery, configuration and testing activities. Progressively, you will take 'functional support ownership' of new and/or enhanced systems and processes.It is anticipated that progressively, technical infrastructure support and expertise will be outsourced to established and/or new vendors. Accordingly, there will be significant planning, commercial negotiation and vendor contract management elements in your role.Proactively leading the team and coaching/supporting their broader professional development is an important responsibility. Success will be defined by exceptional internal and external customer service, streamlined operational efficiencies, and improved methods of working in an enhanced digital future.It is vital that the delivery of required services is undertaken in a manner which acknowledges and respects the need to empathetically manage the human side of service delivery and managing/supporting what is a significant digital change process.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Provide proactive, supportive leadership and guidance to the IS team to achieve responsive, efficient and effective service delivery and support to the business and to the external customer base as required.Internal IS Service Management: Champion/lead the effort to significantly improve the level of IS service and support to system users within the business, educating, encouraging, coaching and supporting the uptake of the new and/or enhanced system/process features emerging from the digital transformation strategy and program.External IS Services Management: Review and analyse current internal practices, resources and contractual arrangements in respect to technical systems and infrastructure support and make considered recommendations to the Executive Management Team regarding options to outsource technical support to external providers.Vendor Management: Manage vendor contractual arrangements in a commercially astute manner. Lead negotiations with established vendors and potential new providers as required to achieve business objectives.Executive Management Support: Together with the Program Manager- Digital Transformation, contribute your expert insights, advice and thought leadership on innovative approaches to problem solving and opportunities to apply sound best practice to achieve desired strategy outcomes.Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience Required:To secure this rewarding position, you will ideally hold a tertiary degree in a relevant IT discipline, business information services, technology or equivalent relevant experience. Your qualifications will underpin your sound experience and success in establishing a 'customer-focused' functional/team culture and leading/developing/supporting your IS team members in the delivery of IS management services to achieve expected enhanced levels of performance and support.A broad, business-focused 'all-rounder' IS support management background encompassing a range of different business domains, such as financial, operational, information technology, customer management, asset management, operational technology and ideally, some experience with ERP system management, is preferred.Network/ICT: Able to support the current network architecture and to assist in the design and implementation of a new network architecture.Cloud Services: Able to support the move of IT infrastructure and business applications to cloud/SaaS solutions.Data Management: Able to support the design and implementation of a new data management architecture and associated system integrations.Cornerstone International Group has been retained to assist with this key appointment.
