Your expertise will support control owners to effectively manage threats and vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities: Drive the implementation and improvement of vulnerability management strategies, leveraging industry-leading tools and techniques.Collaborate with architects and engineers to design and implement secure solutions that align with business objectives.Conduct regular risk assessments and threat modeling to identify and mitigate potential security risks.Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and remediation.Promote a strong security culture through awareness campaigns and training programs.What We're Looking For: 5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on vulnerability management and security posture.Deep understanding of security frameworks, standards, and technologies, including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and SIEM.Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.A proactive approach to identifying and resolving security issues.A team player who can work effectively with diverse teams.Prior experience in the financial sector with enterprise level organisations is beneficial.Paxus values diversity and welcomes applications from Indigenous Australians, people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds and people living with a disability.
