Randstad is currently recruiting for a Freedom of Information (FOI) Officers to work within a busy State Government Agency located in the CBD. This will require a high level of administrative skills, resilience, and ability to be agile in a changing environment.
43.33 - $46.18 per hour + SuperannuationFull Time Hours, 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday3 month contract with view of extensionAbout the role Registering and documenting FOI requests, preparing and distributing FOI acknowledgement emails.Undertaking procedures to assist with creating, processing and making decisions to ensure all matters are recorded correctly on all databases in accordance with the FOI Act.Monitor, assess and vet draft determinations and files prepared by other FOI team members.Providing administrative support.Assisting in developing systems, processes and tools to support FOI handling and awareness.Providing administration access where necessary to various agency databases.Assisting with the release and closure of FOI matters.Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and understand requests for information, the Freedom of Information Act 1991 (FOI Act).Skills and Experience Must have experience with The Freedom of Information Act 1991 (FOI Act).Proven experience in a similar role; public service experience is highly regarded.Strong customer service and communication skills.Highly organised, excellent attention to detail and ability to follow processes.Competent with IT & ability to navigate multiple systems and databases.Ability to manage competing priorities and be agile in a changing environment.Experience in stakeholder management, both with internal and external stakeholders.Please note that only candidates with FOI experience will be contacted and shortlisted.Benefits Work in a supportive and inclusive environment.Above average hourly remuneration.Discounts at retailers like David Jones, Myer & JB HiFi, Rebel Sport, Woolworths, Hoyts cinemas and many more.A free Employee Assistance Program offers you and your family support.Access to your payslips at the click of a button via our MyRandstad App.Plus more.How to apply Click APPLY or contact Monique Costanzo () for a confidential discussion.
