In collaboration with the Information Management Coordinator, this role ensures compliance with records legislation, supports the archiving of council records, and delivers training for staff on records management practices. Additional responsibilities include EDMS technical support, creating training materials, and contributing to team projects to meet the council's Information Management Strategy goals.Key aspects of the role include the following;Assist to develop our EDMS Opentext Content Manager and One Drive/ Sharepoint to ensure that corporate records both electronic and digital are captured, retained, well managed, kept safe and retrievable when needed.Maintain council's records management system in the creation, handling, processing, filing, retrieval, storage and disposal of council's documents.Other duties commensurate with the skills and knowledge of the incumbent as requested by the Information Management Co-ordinator and/or Manager Information Services.Ensuring that written and electronic correspondence is captured accurately with the council's EDMS and forwarded to relevant council officers, within the timeframe set, by the Information Management directive and guidelines.Key Selection Criteria:Our ideal candidate will be able to show us the following.Proven ability to administer an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) preferably Opentext Content Manager or One Drive/Shareopint for Council records.Experience in adhering to Information Management policies and procedures.Proven experience in developing and supporting a culture of good information management practices.Proven ability to maintain and ensure confidentiality.Ability to provide outstanding customer service to all users of differing skills.How to ApplyVisit our website www.wodonga.vic.gov.au/careersUse the "apply" button to commence your application.Applicants will be required to;Complete an online form and address the key selection criteria as outlined above (support on how to address this criteria can be found here)Upload a current resumePrior to commencement, the successful applicant will be required to provide the following.A copy of a recent National Police Check (less than 3 months)Any other mandatory requirements outlined in the position description (eg. first aid, CPR, WWCC, forklift).The completion of a pre-employment functional assessment (paid for by the council) might also be required.If applicable, evidence regarding right to work in Australia will need to be presented.
