A bit about the role At Wyndham, our Information Management Officers are critical in the safe handling of our communities' records as well as providing high-quality customer-focused records and information management services to our organization. The successful candidates will ensure that Council records and information are maintained in accordance with corporate policies and procedures, industry standards, and legislative requirements.
With a customer-focused mindset, you will be adaptable with the ability to think on your feet with a variety of tasks in a diverse team. You will also enjoy technology-driven outcomes for ensuring effective and safe handling of records and information.
What you'll do Provide customer-focused guidance and support on the use of the Electronic Document Management System (EDRMS) to staff and usersManage all aspects of Records Management activities including capture, archiving, and destructionMaintain corporate records in accordance with industry standards and legislative requirementsOpen, sort and distribute all inward mail and emails received by the CouncilProcess all outward mail and arrange courier deliveriesWhat you'll bring Diploma or lesser qualification with relevant work experience in records and information managementExperience in local government records and information managementProficiency in MS Office applications and electronic document management systems, preferably Objective ECMStrong data entry skills and attention to detailAbility to work well within a team environment and provide excellent customer serviceA continuous improvement mindset with a positive, proactive, and flexible attitudeBe part of something more Take a look at our job opportunities and you may be surprised at what you discover: a future-focused culture, a sense of purpose and possibility, and real opportunities to strengthen our diverse community.
