Status: Permanent, Full Time (1.0 FTE).
Salary range: $87,465.25 - $93,043.71 (per annum) dependent on skills, qualifications and experience.
Opportunity: The City of Albany's Information Technology Team is looking for an experienced and qualified individual to take up the role of Information Management Coordinator.
Reporting to the Manager IT, this position's key objective is to develop and implement information management policies and procedures that support the organisations objectives and record keeping legislative requirements.
This position will also see you responsible for, but not limited to.
Providing education, support and advice on managing information and record keeping to employees across the organisation.
Exhibit strong leadership skills promoting goal setting and progression within the information management team.
Ensure effective and efficient information management and record keeping services that fully comply with the organisations policies and relevant legislation.
Demonstrate excellent customer service by setting a positive example and consistently delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
About You: The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and customer service skills, with proven experience in information/ records management.
The Successful candidate will also require; Experience in leading, motivating and developing a strong team.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the application of standards and legislation relating to local government record keeping.
At least 3 years' experience in information/records management, or a relevant qualification.
