Contract: 6+6 month Federal Government contract – December start
Our client, a Federal Government agency who helps grow Australia's prosperity by delivering quality trade and investment services to businesses, is seeking an experienced and motivated Information Management and Records Specialist to join their team.
Duties/skills: Manage and contribute to the development and implementation of an information and records management strategy that supports the Agency's business objectives and meets legislative, regulatory and technical requirements. Manage the Agency's information policies and supporting procedures and coordinating the NAA Digital Check-up survey. Conduct and implement the technical aspects of information management, such as complex searches, data migration, classification, retention and disposal of records. Criteria: Relevant qualifications and demonstrated experience in information management, records management and/or knowledge management (Diploma of Business (Records and Information Management)). Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of government recordkeeping regulations and frameworks, such as the National Archives Act, the Australian Government Records Interoperability Framework, and the building trust in the public record: managing information and data for government and community policy. Demonstrated experience and expertise in the administration and management of EDRMS or similar technology or systems for managing information and data. Experience with Content Manager 10 and Microsoft 365 is highly desirable.
