Parlpuru Ninji Kari - Health Services Section, Tennant Creek NT - Full Time Location: Tennant Creek and the surrounding Barkly region Job Title: Information Technology and Communications (ICT) Officer Classification: Administration and Support Officers (ASO) Employment Conditions: Full Time Contract Contract Duration: Ongoing – Dependent on Funding Salary: $120,720 - $144,634pa (ASO L9.1 - 9.5) Generous salary packaging: $15,899.94p/a Professional development incentive: Allowance of $1,500p/a Reports to: Direct: Executive Manager Business Services - Indirect Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Facilitator Subsidised Accommodation: Available for candidates residing outside the Barkly Region. To achieve our goal, we employ over 100 people across a diverse range of roles in each of our key sections of Health Services, Public Health, Stronger Families, Corporate Services, Corporate Governance & People's & Capabilities Sections. About the Role: As a pivotal member of the Business Services team, the ICT Officer will spearhead the implementation and optimisation of advanced ICT systems, ensuring seamless operation of all technology assets. The position also encompasses the integration of innovative technologies to enhance efficiency, compliance, and data analytics. This position offers the chance to be at the forefront of our digital transformation. Key responsibilities: Technology integration & optimal Data security & compliance User training & support Project management Quality assurance & data accuracy Collaboration & stakeholder engagement Reporting & analysis Documentation & policy development Continuous improvement initiatives Stakeholder management Training & professional development About You: At least 4 years experience or relevant qualifications Advanced skills in utilising information management, software & document management systems. Must be familiar with database management, data migration & integration of technology solutions to enhance records management practices. In depth knowledge of data security protocols & the ability to implement robust measures to safeguard sensitive information. Demonstrated understanding of privacy laws & regulations, ensuring compliance in all records management practices. Install programs, configure networks & databases & provide assistance to end users. Support information security, database administration or server maintenance. Experience in leveraging automation for optimising records-related workflows. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and execute technology initiatives from conception to completion. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of records through rigorous quality assurance processes. Experience in conducting regular audits to ensure compliance and data accuracy. Current C Class Driver's License Working with Children's Clearance – OCHRE Card To be considered for this position, you must have at least 4 years experience in ICT and maintain advanced skills in utilising information management software & document management & possess excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate across all sections within Anyinginyi Health, to ensure clear communication to both technical & non-technical engagement. Experience working with an Aboriginal organisation or communities will be highly regarded but is not essential, provided you are able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the issues pertaining to Aboriginal Primary Health Care and the social determinants of health in our surrounding communities.
