About the role: To manage the Information Communication and Technology (ICT) infrastructure in a professional and competent manner. The Manager will have strong working relationships with all direct service providers, internal and external customers, working parties, and cross-functional teams as appropriate. The position requires positive working relationships with all other areas of the organisation, particularly the CEO, Directors, Managers, Team Leaders and our Elected Members.
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following: Relevant tertiary qualification in information systems or a minimum three (3) years previous experience in a similar role.Excellent verbal, written communication, negotiation, organisational, planning and time management skills.Strong relationship building, interpersonal and negotiation and reporting skills.Proven ability to analyse operational systems and processes to support continuous improvement and drive innovation.Demonstrated competency in ICT management, configuration, procurement and maintenance support.High proficiency in Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft TEAMS, Microsoft Office365, video surveillance technologies, cyber security risk mitigation, satellite, WiFi, Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti, Docusign, Telstra Service Portals and Mobility.Due to the nature of the position, the ability to work flexible hours and travel in light aircraft and/or unsealed roads to remote communities.Current NT Drivers Licence.It would be desirable if you also possessed: Previous experience working or living within an Indigenous setting and ability to demonstrate a high level of cross-cultural awareness in the workplace.Awareness of issues affecting Indigenous people to ensure effective participation in a cross-cultural environment.Qualifications in ITIL and Prince2 (or similar).All employment with EARC is subject to the successful completion of a Criminal History Check and the ability to obtain a Working with Children Clearance. Level 9 - Salary $118,314 - $125,519 (excluding super and locality allowance) with annual wage increase opportunities built into our EBA.
You will also benefit from 6 weeks annual leave with 17.5% leave loading.
Access to own housing in Darwin or its surrounds is a must for the successful candidate.
