Information Access Officer

$62.62 per hour + super - 12 week Government contract Full time hours - 37 per week Join the Legal Services team within an ACT Government Agency. You'll assist with legal matters, court applications, and provide crucial support in managing information requests.
$62 per hour + super 3 month contract - potential to extend WFH, Hybrid working conditions Canberra based Government Agency WWVP Required Key Responsibilities: Manage information requests under specific policies. Retrieve and prepare documents for litigation and information requests. Review and redact sensitive information in line with specific Acts. Prepare briefs for the Director General to assist in decision-making. Maintain confidentiality and ensure all records are compliant. What You'll Need: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to quickly understand legislation and policies related to child and youth protection. Excellent organisational skills to manage competing tasks and deadlines. Experience in customer service and handling sensitive information. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications and Requirements: Experience or desire to work in community and legal services. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems. Knowledge of court procedures and document preparation is an advantage. Working with Vulnerable People Check and National Police Check required. $62 p/h + super - 12 week contract - Retrieval, filing and preparation of documents to facilitate the handling of information requests and litigation.
