Informatech are working with Defence to implement a new Network environment across various Defence Domains. We require a Network Specialist to provide SME guidance to the ADF and assist in the implementation.
You will be responsible for the following: Support the design, build, and deploy of complex network solutions. Complete and review all associated network documentation. Provide Network SME advice to the customer, and internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project definition, system architecture and process improvement. Create Knowledge Articles on key processes, network devices and systems that can be used across the service desk and wider community of IT support staff. Identify innovative service improvements that provide additional value to network solutions. Skills and Experience Demonstrated Network experience working in a contemporary, secure ICT environment with understanding and skills in the provision of technical services; particularly in CISCO switching and routing, Load Balancers, Fortinet Firewalls, Wireless Networking and On-prem/Azure network connectivity such as express route, VPN's and V-net peering. Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Network Engineer. Highly developed written and oral communication skills, particularly in discussing technical and strategic matters with non-technical people. Australian Citizenship and an NV1 clearance minimum is required for this role due to it being within Defence. This role is required to be based in Canberra; remote workers will not be considered.
