Infor Inc. | Assistant Accountant

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Associate Accountant will be required to assist and support in a wide range of general functions performed by the Pacific Finance Department.
This is a role that requires a highly capable, self-motivated person with the willingness required to acquire the knowledge, experience and skills to progress to higher levels of duties and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities Assist with:
Month End/Quarter End closing Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis Compliance & internal governance AP & AR functions, both internal and external stakeholders AR function backup Compliance requests from internal and external stakeholders Accreditations and supplier panels RFP's and related requests Local Channel Partners (commissions statements, ad-hoc queries, and invoices) Statistical surveys Local compliance reporting Administration of global mobility Local statutory audits Direct and indirect tax Other general duties & ad-hoc projects as assigned Basic Qualifications 2 years proven experience in accounting/business administration Strong administrative skills, detail oriented, confident, self-starter with a positive attitude Ability to multi-task with a pragmatic work style Excellent written and verbal skills, in person and over the phone and can maintain professionalism and confidentiality with stakeholders. Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision Advanced Microsoft Excel & Word skills Preferred Qualifications Accounting, business or commerce bachelor's degree with view to progressing to CA/CPA/IPA.
