Key Responsibilities: Project Delivery Management: Lead and manage the entire SAP project lifecycle, from planning to deployment, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and budget. Coordinate across multiple teams (technical, functional, and business) to ensure smooth delivery of SAP solutions. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and outcomes. Collaborate with business leaders to ensure SAP initiatives align with overall business goals and strategies. Solution Delivery and Integration: Oversee the integration of SAP logistics modules with other SAP systems (e.g., SAP FICO, SAP PP) and third-party solutions. Ensure seamless end-to-end logistics processes, from procurement to warehouse management to order fulfilment. Monitor system performance, ensuring smooth operations and user satisfaction post-implementation. Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential risks and issues in SAP projects and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and resolve project escalations in a timely manner. Quality Assurance: Ensure all SAP solutions are delivered to high quality standards, adhering to best practices and governance frameworks. Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) and manage feedback from business users. Vendor and Partner Management: Work closely with external vendors and service providers, managing contracts, deliverables, and ensuring alignment with project requirements. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements in SAP delivery methodologies and tools. Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies, trends, and best practices, ensuring the team leverages innovative solutions. Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and guide a team of SAP consultants and developers (internal & external), fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring the team meets project objectives efficiently. Key Requirements: Experience: 12+ years of experience in SAP project management, with a focus on delivery leadership focused on Logistics area. Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale SAP implementations across various modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, ECC). Strong understanding of SAP technologies, business processes, and system integration. Excellent project management skills, including proficiency with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work with diverse stakeholders. Certifications: SAP certifications and Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) certifications preferred. SAP Certifications in relevant logistics modules (e.g., MM, SD, WM). Educational Qualification: Engineering / MBA Work Experience: Total No. of years: 12-15 years Minimum of 12 years of experience leading the implementation of SAP Projects at large organizations Managed 4-5 full SAP life cycle implementations and SAP AMS management experience in an organization of minimum 4000+ employees.
