About the Role As part of our busy Workshop teams, we have the opportunity for a qualified Tradesperson to enjoy the wide scope of works in our Industrial Workshop Infield Team.
Based in our head office in Mackay this role is perfect for a Tradesperson who enjoys the flexibility and opportunity to work on a wide range of pumping and water treatment products and projects throughout the Mackay and surrounding regions whilst continuing to broaden their experience, capabilities!
Role Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair pumps and pumping equipment Strip, assess and troubleshoot pumping and water treatment issues, faults and concerns Conduct equipment repairs and routine maintenance Contribute to the manufacture, install and maintenance of pump stations, pontoons and transfer stations Collaborate with the team to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues Recording of servicing information, photographs and other documentation relevant to the job Eligibility Trade Qualification preferred – Fitter / Mechanical Fitter / Plumber / Electrician OR; Technician experienced with pumps and / or pumping equipment Current manual Drivers Licence Ability to read and interpret drawings, manuals and parts information Supply own hand tools Desirable, but not essential Forklift Licence HR Truck Licence Dogging Licence Mine site competencies if wish to be considered for infield work (Standard 11 Generics, Coal Board Medical etc).
