Inf-196 Landfill Supervisor - Greenvale

ABOUT THE ROLE Please read all information carefully before applying. This position is required to supervise the Greenvale Landfill on Saturdays between 8:00am and 12:00pm in accordance with the relevant Council operating procedures. Employment Status: Part Time, Permanent Award: Level 3 of the Queensland Local Government Industry (Stream B) Award – State 2017 Salary Range: $28.15 per hour ABOUT YOU The successful candidate will have: | Essential Knowledge, skills and abilities | Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position. Demonstrated ability to safely operate a variety of hand held tools, small plant and equipment. Effective time management and ability to determine work priorities. Sound verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interpret and comply with established policies, plans and procedures. Relevant knowledge of Waste Management practices. Demonstrated commitment to safe working practices, with the ability to identify, resolve and report workplace health and safety issues appropriately. | Essential Education/Qualifications | Possession of General Safety Induction Certificate (Construction Industry) "White Card". | Essential Licences | Possession and maintenance of a current 'C' class Queensland Drivers Licence.
