The Fleet Support Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of the support staff and support activities within the Infrastructure Services Fleet Department.
This position plays a key role in driving the achievement of Infrastructure Service objectives through the effective scheduling of fleet maintenance activities and the coordination and delivery of high-quality fleet support activities.
The incumbent of this role will be required to develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of Fleet Services programs, systems, policies, and procedures.
Employment Status: Full Time Permanent
Award: Level 4 of the Queensland Local Government Industry (Stream A) Award – State 2017
Salary Range: $86,940 per annum.
ABOUT YOU The successful candidate will have:
| Essential Knowledge, skills and abilities | Broad understanding of plant and equipment asset management and preventative maintenance applications to best practice. Well-developed planning, organisational and task management skills. High level of customer service skills and engagement experience. Proven people management, team development and leadership skills and experience. Substantial written and verbal communication skills including the ability to liaise with a wide range of people at all levels. Proven ability to understand and implement procedures and directions. Thorough knowledge and commitment to safe working practices, with the ability to identify, resolve and report workplace health and safety issues appropriately. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (outlook, word and excel). Good record keeping and administrative skills, supported by competent computer skills. | Essential Education/Qualifications | Possession of a General Safety Induction Certificate (Construction Industry) "Blue/White Card". | Essential Licences | Possession and maintenance of a current Queensland 'C' class driver licence.
