Sheep and Goat Electronic Identification (eID) is critical to quickly finding and tracking disease infected animals and stop the spread.
As Industry Support Officer, you will support this important project by:
Liaising with industry stakeholders and supply chain participants from across Tasmania.
Managing contracts and administering Grants.
Providing support to farmers on their applications for industry assistance.
Helping farmers understand their obligations.
Our ideal candidate has
Practical knowledge of electronic tagging equipment.
Experience with the National Livestock Identification System (NLIS).
Passion for engaging and building connections with people and communities.
Interest in undertaking a role that requires regular travel across Tasmania.
