The successful supplier will report to the DSUs existing Classification and Coding team and will support critical activities to ensure the quality of coded data used by a wide range of areas in the department for purposes such as funding impacts decisions, safety, and quality monitoring, and improving patient outcomes.To be successful in this engagement, the supplier analyst providing this service would require a health information management qualification and/or a clinical coding qualification and experience.Job Scope/Day-to-Day Duties:Various memos, briefings and papers for coding committee meeting minutes, and query documents.Providing enquirers who submitted a coding committee query a written response of their resolved query and preparation of coding committee queries for publication.Provide input to coding-related responses to data requests received by the unit.Data Set Maintenance, support the manager in providing written feedback on classification development papers.Process Documentation.Mandatory/Preferred Qualifications:Health information management qualification and/or a clinical coding qualification and experience.Experience working in a clinical coding function in a health provider organization such as hospitals will be a requirement.Requirements:A minimum of 5 years plus experience in project delivery as a business analyst in the health sector.Extensive experience with documenting business requirements and functional design through user stories, wireframes, screen mockups, etc.Experience with negotiating with users, technical staff and product owners to achieve desired outcomes.Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to:Lead workshops and work directly with solution stakeholders.Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and provide leadership.Negotiate, and resolve problems, challenging opinions where necessary to achieve quality solutions.Prior experience in working with government organizations.About NTT DATA ServicesNTT DATA Services is a recognized leader in IT and business services, including cloud, data and applications, headquartered in Texas.
