The Manager Industrial Relations at Adbri plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's approach to industrial relations across its two operating divisions, encompassing 1600 employees and 39 collective agreements. This role involves providing strategic guidance, timely advice, and operational support to leaders while facilitating the development and deployment of tools and resources aimed at fostering effective and productive industrial relationships within the organisation.
The successful candidate will lead the charge in defining Adbri's industrial relations strategy, ensuring that principles of fairness, efficiency, and productivity permeate throughout operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Assume ownership of critical industrial risks and develop and execute strategies to mitigate them effectively.Implement and adapt Adbri's industrial relations strategy to align with evolving priorities and legislative changes.Lead and coordinate our annual pipeline of enterprise agreement negotiations, utilising tools and resources to uphold Adbri's industrial priorities.Devise plans to foster industrial harmony, manage conflicts, and establish cooperative processes for addressing industrial issues.Cultivate and maintain constructive relationships with relevant unions to foster dialogue and collaboration.Provide oversight and support to our Return on Engagement (ROE) process, in collaboration with our HSE team when necessary.Keep Adbri abreast of emerging legislative issues and ensure readiness to address them effectively.Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the industrial relations acumen of front-line leaders and P&C representatives.Serve as a knowledgeable resource for interpreting and applying industrial agreements.Supervise all tribunal-related activities for the group, in conjunction with Adbri's legal team.Qualifications / Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations, Law, Human Resources, or a related field.Extensive experience managing industrial relations within a large industrial organisation.Profound understanding of industrial legislation and case history.Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.Advanced negotiation skills, supported by relevant training or certification.Strong project management and organisational capabilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities independently.Proven capacity to think strategically and creatively to achieve negotiation objectives.Extensive experience collaborating with employee organisation officials and agencies at local, state, and federal levels.Key Performance Indicators:
