Industrial Methods Engineer Full Time Position Benalla, Victoria Our Benalla manufacturing site is located in regional Victoria, 2.5 hours north of Melbourne's CBD. Close to ski fields, wine regions, hiking trails, rivers, and campgrounds, there is plenty to see and do. For over 40 years we have held operations at this site, producing transformers and kiosks to service a large domestic market. As part of our strategy to offer world-class production systems and a strong product development excellence culture, we are seeking a suitably qualified Industrial Methods Engineer to join our Kiosk Manufacturing Facility in Benalla. Reporting to the Industrial Methods Manager, this role will have responsibility for developing key processes to optimise the manufacturing process.
Specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Determining the time required to manufacture a product through the utilization of an appropriate method. Prescribing the necessary detailed process steps using appropriate gestures (ergonomics). Contributing to the entire time management process including product costing, performance animation & performance calculation. Contributing towards Continuous Improvement. Building training plans on the operating modes in collaboration with the manufacturing team leaders. Be the Data-Owner of the Manufacturing (PEX) Domain managing all data (creation, update, and deletion). Support the Quality Processes on the several used tools (SAP and any Domain/local tools like Labels Database). Can also be Key-User of the Manufacturing Domain. Deploying Schneider Performance System (SPS). Deploying Schneider digital/SMART factory tools. To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills & experience: Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree. Demonstrated experience working in an Industrial Methods capacity. MTM (Methods Time Measurement) Knowledge preferred. Minimum 6 months experience in the industrial field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The Perks: This role attracts annual base salary ranging from $80K to $90K.
