Industrial Mechanical Designer & Estimator

About the Role
You'll be responsible for:
technical aspects of Barrier Group's product portfolio, including design validation, product development, product documentation and procurement to meet stakeholders' needs;
preparation of accurate cost estimates and quotes for custom projects;
collaboration with our quality assurance teams to ensure product quality.
About You
Your key attributes and skills will include:
recent experience in a similar role and relevant qualifications, such as industrial design or mechanical engineering;
proven experience in technical documentation and proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar);
customer-first mindset and ability to meet deadlines and demonstrate a sense of urgency;
high-level interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with and present effectively to various stakeholders;
strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling;
a proactive and can-do attitude.
