Our facilities will enable plastic waste to be recycled locally and made into new bottles and packaging, rather than ending up in landfills.About this opportunityThe primary purpose of the site Industrial Maintenance electrician is to provide production support on the current plant machinery, including breakdown/troubleshooting, project, and CI implementation.
This site electrician role is part of a maintenance team covering a 24-hour, 5-day-a-week operation with additional support for weekend production as required.We are looking to fill a night shift.Your key responsibilities will be to:This role requires the individual to work autonomously and at times make prioritising decisions as required.
Fault finding and troubleshooting is critical to the role, working on a range of specialised equipment.There is a requirement to have a solid understanding of the following equipment:PLC logic, SCADA and IO troubleshooting, SiemensSafety control logic, with an understanding of Australian Safety StandardsUnderstanding of extruders, automated bulk bagging machines, and optical sorting systemsMaintenance of electrical controls of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, conveying and optical sorting systemsSite services including compressors, chillers, and boilers.As well as participate in the following:Assisting technicians/machine operators on site as requiredDaily meetings as requiredYour skills and experienceTo be successful in this role, you'll have:General electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing production linesProven and strong knowledge of PLCs with associated software, VSDs, HMIs, etc.Understanding and working with safety systems and standards, Omron, Pilz, etc.A team player with a positive, self-motivated, and proactive attitude is essential.Able to read and understand ELDs and P&IDsStock control of relevant electrical spare parts#J-18808-Ljbffr
