About Us:
Sunset Sleepers is a leader in manufacturing and supplying concrete sleepers for retaining walls. As we grow our product line, we're seeking a skilled, resourceful individual to join our team and make an impact by improving and maintaining our production equipment.
Your Role: Design, build, and repair machinery for our production lines Diagnose issues and implement lasting solutions Fabricate and assemble components Operate and maintain power tools and fabrication equipment like the Break Press Perform MIG and stick welding Handle site maintenance tasks Assist with CNC operations, forklift tasks, and construction support as needed (experience in these areas is a plus!) Keep our production line running efficiently – remember, concrete waits for no one! What You Bring: Experience with industrial machinery, including pneumatics, motors, and mechanical systems A strong, solutions-focused mindset with excellent troubleshooting skills Ability to work both independently and as a team player Optional skills: forklift operation, CNC, PLC knowledge, construction experience, and pneumatics Skills and Qualities: Technical and mechanical aptitude with high attention to detail Organized and able to maintain a neat, efficient workspace Ability to work under minimal supervision Good communication skills and a positive, proactive approach to work Why Sunset Sleepers?
