About the Role:
We currently have an opportunity for an Industrial Electrician to operate out of our Dandenong branch. The successful applicant will ideally have a minimum of 10 years' experience completing works in hazardous environments and previous experience in the gas industry will be highly regarded.
Duties Electrical Installation and Plant CommissioningHazardous area compliance and Electrical DossiersInstrument setup, calibration, configuration and Instrument fault findingWorking with PLC's and automationWorking with electrical drawingsAttending to breakdowns and customer site breakdownsEnsure site compliance to Australian StandardsSetup and Maintain customer tank telemetriesOperating Maintenance Management System (MEX)Involvement in Management of Change documentation and RFSUIssue Permit to Work and Hot WorkInvolvement in JSA and Risk AssessmentsQualifications and Education Requirements Hold an A Grade Electrical LicenseValid Drivers LicenceSkills Previous experience in manufacturing and industrial environmentUnderstand and comply with rules of Major Hazard Facility and OHS policiesUEE42622 Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas – Electrical (Preferable)Confined Space TrainedWorking at Heights TrainedForklift LicensePLC ProgrammingTraining will be provided in these areas for a suitable applicant.Benefits Participating on an on-call roster (paid allowance)Work in a friendly environment with a supportive teamProfessional learning and development opportunitiesHow to Apply
