The Opportunity We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic Industrial Designer to join our close-knit Team.
The successful applicant would be responsible for static and mobile showroom designs, managing the projects to completion, along with being responsible for other brand related design aspects.
The Role Design and layout of showrooms within the eastern StatesPreparing 2D & 3D drawings, and liaising with trades to cost and deliver project elementsOverseeing the delivery of each project, to both a timeframe and budgetEnsuring and upholding the brand identity and quality within all such workOur Ideal Candidate Motivated and enthusiastic to take ownership of projects, and deliver them to a high standardStrong design flare, with the ability to communicate ideas verbally and through drawingsInterest and understanding of building practices and methodologies, to effectively work with and manage trades, to deliver one's designs to a scheduled timelineAnalytical thinker, problem solver, with a desire to be 'hands on' at timesMust Have A degree in Industrial Design or related fieldProficiency in AutoCAD, preferably Inventor, (otherwise Solidworks)Minimum 3 Years industry experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPlease supply a cover letter explaining why you feel you are an ideal candidate, with a copy / link to your design portfolio.
