Job Type: Permanent position | Full time positionJob DescriptionGV Stone Works are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Industrial Designer to join their team in Shepparton Vic 3630. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:Defining design briefs and limitations through client and stakeholder consultations.Conducting product research to assess functional, commercial, cultural, and aesthetic needs.Developing design concepts for various products including clothing, textiles, industrial items, commercial goods, consumer products, and jewelry.Creating visual aids like sketches, diagrams, and models to convey design ideas effectively.Negotiating design solutions with clients, management, and relevant staff.Selecting and recommending materials, production methods, and finishes that meet both functional and aesthetic requirements.Documenting the chosen design thoroughly for production.Overseeing prototype development and sample creation.Supervising pattern, program, and tooling preparation, as well as the manufacturing process.Skills and Abilities:The ability to work in a team environment.At least 3 years' experience as an Industrial Designer.Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience.
