About the role Rare opportunity to join our Store Development team as a Graduate Retail Designer. Working in the capacity of an Industrial Designer, you will use your understanding of design and manufacturing to deliver physical solutions in our stores.Imagine the inside of a Bunnings store as a big kit of custom fixtures and fittings. With a focus on Research and Development activities, you will be working in the team that is responsible their constant evolution and alignment with global best will design to decrease cost, increase safety and enhance customer experience. You will achieve this by prototyping and testing in both our Merchandise Lab and live store environments. What's involved: Apply your knowledge of the design process to take an idea from a sketch to a manufactured object.Manage the delivery of your designs through coordination with internal and external stakeholders.Visit our sites and suppliers to ensure successful roll-out of your designed solutions.Manage the documentation of design standards and communicate these with both internal and external we are looking forYou will be a qualified Industrial Designer, who is excited to gain exposure in a large-scale retail organisation. You will enjoy working in a dynamic, project driven environment where you can use your skills across both design and project management.Your excellent communication skills will enable you to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver fit for purpose designs.
