The Opportunity We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic Industrial Designer to join our close-knit Team. The successful applicant would be responsible for static and mobile showroom designs, managing the projects to completion, along with being responsible for other brand related design aspects.
The Role Design and layout of showrooms within the eastern States Preparing 2D & 3D drawings, and liaising with trades to cost and deliver project elements Overseeing the delivery of each project, to both a timeframe and budget Ensuring and upholding the brand identity and quality within all such work Our Ideal Candidate Motivated and enthusiastic to take ownership of projects, and deliver them to a high standard Strong design flare, with the ability to communicate ideas verbally and through drawings Interest and understanding of building practices and methodologies, to effectively work with and manage trades, to deliver one's designs to a scheduled timeline Analytical thinker, problem solver, with a desire to be 'hands on' at times Must Have A degree in Industrial Design or related field Proficiency in AutoCAD, preferably Inventor, (otherwise Solidworks) Minimum 3 Years industry experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Please supply a cover letter explaining why you feel you are an ideal candidate, with a copy / link to your design portfolio.
