Industrial Designer

Ferguson Corporation, Perth's leading Commercial Architectural Furniture & Fitout Company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Designer Professional to create shop drawings for Architects' Approval and production drawings for the Factory Floor.
It is essential that successful candidates will have:
Work closely with clients and team members to understand the design needs and project goals, ensuring clear communication throughout the process. Conduct research on functional, technical, and industry-specific demands, balancing practical, aesthetic, and environmental factors. Create sketches, 3D models, and digital renders to visualize design concepts and facilitate discussions with clients and team members. Collaborate with production and sales teams to address any design challenges, ensuring the final product meets functional requirements. Recommend suitable materials and finishes, considering durability, cost, and sustainability to enhance the product's overall quality. Prepare detailed specifications and technical drawings to guide the production process and ensure accuracy in manufacturing. Assist in developing prototypes, providing hands-on support during testing to refine designs based on client feedback. Work closely with manufacturing teams to monitor the production process, ensuring accurate execution of designs and meeting quality standards. Previous working knowledge of Cabinet Vision is preferred. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
