Job Description About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Business Analysis, the key element of the Business Analyst role is to undertake detailed analysis of business and user processes, systems and requirements to support the scoping, design and delivery of projects within Indue and client systems.
As the Business Analyst, you will work closely with all relevant stakeholder groups, particularly the Project Manager, ensuring they are effectively engaged and informed throughout each project.
The role is also responsible for documentation control of a large-scale project inclusive of various streams.
Responsibilities for the role include:
Drive the process of analysing, scoping and documenting user and system requirements for projects and products as required.
This includes facilitating stakeholder workshops and client engagement.
Undertake detailed analysis, documentation and evaluation of business processes and procedures and provide improvement recommendations.
Collaboration and involvement in pre-sales business analysis and provision of input into RFPs.
Manage internal stakeholders and external client expectations regarding technical system functionality.
Identify and evaluate compliance requirements and risks related to system capabilities and client requirements and develop appropriate control measures.

You will have all or majority of the following skills and attributes:
Formal qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Business, IT or appropriate relevant experience.
5+ years' experience in a similar role with an emphasis on requirements gathering, detailed design, functional specification and stakeholder management.
Core banking / payment system experience with exposure to Payments and Cards message (ISO8583 / AS2805 / ISO20022).
Experience in delivering one or more payment solutions and products Experience in Cards payments related streams Card issuing, schemes, clearing and settlement, ATM/EFTPOS devices, switching Experience in Cards tokenisation, mobile wallet provisioning, apple pay, google pay, Samsung pay Knowledge of financial message standards like AS2805, ISO8583, ISO20022 Experience in NPP, RTGS, DE, BPAY, International money transfer, MT / MX Experience in building and implementing Payments Fraud monitoring and AML monitoring Demonstrated ability to effectively develop and manage varied client and stakeholder relationships and manage expectations.
Demonstrated ability to effectively elicit, interpret, analyse and translate complex business information from stakeholders into documented solutions.
Experience in Business process mapping Intermediate to advanced level skills in the day-to-day use of typical Microsoft programs (including Visio, SharePoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Demonstrated experience in working on multiple projects with a level of context switching will be highly regarded.
