IWC has an exciting opportunity to work within their Finance department as a full-time Senior Accountant.
This position will work across all IWC programs and services, responsible for gathering and monitoring financial data, preparing accurate statements, budgeting and forecasting, managing tax payments, and managing Internal Controls and compliance with accounting standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cash flow forecasting Manage stocktake Assist in preparation of financial reports Asset Management Management of leasing Accounts payable and receivable tasks (as required) Reconciliation of Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss accounts Preparation of the Business Activity Statement (BAS) Preparation of the Fringe Benefits Tax Return Assist with payroll duties (as required) Collaboration with department managers/supervisors End of Month reconciliations Review payroll and payment runs Assist in insurance renewals Skills & Attributes:
Advanced excel skills High level of accuracy Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines Strong ability to learn new skills and systems quickly High level of confidentiality Experience Preferred:
SAP Business One Payroll Accounts experience, particularly in financial reporting 2+ years in a similar Accountant role NFP/Government Funding Reporting Experience Key Requirements:
Accounting Degree (minimum requirement is Bachelor Degree) A Blue Card (Working with children card QLD)* or ability to obtain Federal police check or ability to obtain Current Driver's Licence is essential or the ability to obtain First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain SALARY PACKAGE:
Your Salary Package is made up of the following:
Salary Sacrifice Packaging valued up to $15,990 per annum – adding approximately $2,000 to your take-home pay (available after completion of probation). Meals and Entertainment Package up to $2,600 per annum (available after completion of probation). 9-Day Fortnight (for full-time staff). Superannuation valued at 11.5%.
