Your Role We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and passionate educator for the position of Teacher Assistant (Indigenous Education) to join our team at St Patrick's College, Mackay.
This is a term-time continuing position for 20hpw, commencing from January 2025.
Selection Criteria
The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate:
A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and spiritualities.An ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, their families and school staff to improve educational outcomes through targeted and direct academic support.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.

About you The successful applicant will have relevant experience and an understanding of, and a commitment to, the ethos of Catholic Education.
In addition, you will have excellent time management skills, well-developed interpersonal skills and a high proficiency of computer skills.
