Mahinita Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Indian Cuisine Chef to join our team at the Multiaward Winning Overlander Indian Restaurant in Orange, NSW.
As a full-time role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of authentic Indian dishes for our customers in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
Preparing and cooking a diverse range of traditional Indian cuisine with experience in curries & Tandoori dishes.Ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.Collaborating with the kitchen team to optimise workflow and efficiency.Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment.Adhering to all food safety and health regulations.Providing exceptional customer service and responding to special dietary requirements.Assisting in menu development & implementation.Ability to supervise, inspire & motivate other team members.Involved with cost control through effective practices, managing & monitoring financial budgets, food, wages & other expenses.What we're looking for:
Experience as an Indian Cuisine Chef.Formal culinary training or qualification.Strong knowledge of Indian spices, herbs, and cooking techniques.Excellent time management and multitasking skills.Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.Passion for Indian cuisine and a desire to provide an exceptional dining experience.What we offer:
