Independent Timber Supplies is looking for an experienced CV Licensed, HC Truck Driver to join our thriving business. Independent Timber Supplies are a WA business that is locally owned and has been operating for over 30 years. We service a range of Project Builders, Custom Builders, and Owner Builders with our timber supply and manufacturing of prefab frames and trusses in the Western Australian building market.
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven HC Truck Driver who holds a CV License - (licensed to operate a crane over 10 tonne), to maximise our operations and high delivery standards. This role is suited to a HC licensed driver with a CV – Crane licence. Only experienced operators should consider this role. About the role: Starting at 6am and completing local metro and SW regional deliveries, you can expect to work full days with OT. HIAB crane used in delivering timber roof packs to domestic building sites. Skilled and sometimes complex driving | delivering to metro residential areas and some regional areas (day runs). Trailer towing with safe work procedures a high priority. To be successful you will need: HC Licence that is current and a good driving record can be demonstrated. HRWL – CV essential and current. LF Licence is desirable but not essential. Ability and experience in slinging loads and weight distribution ideally in the timber industry. Demonstrate Chain of Command knowledge. Willingness to undergo Drug and Alcohol testing prior to employment and understanding that random testing is conducted during employment.
