You will play a key role in managing a traditional cash portfolio and supporting our Fixed Income and Mortgage Fund Portfolio Managers. Your focus will be on delivering fund management solutions specifically related to defensive or income assets. About the role: Manage a portfolio of predominantly cash, short-term deposits, and money market securities Assist in managing a high-quality, diversified Australian fixed income portfolio Support the Portfolio Manager in the daily operations of the EQT Mortgage Fund Adhere to investment guidelines and manage risk and compliance Monitor and report on fund credit quality, duration, liquidity, and other risk metrics Conduct basic credit assessment and risk/return modelling Communicate with brokers, counterparties, and product issuers.
