The Inclusion and Wellbeing Coordinator is an integral member of the Organisational Development team at the City of Hobart. The role delivers on its Inclusion and Wellbeing Framework, by coordinating activities and supporting leaders to create a psychologically safe and inclusive work environment for everyone. You will be required to be able to work effectively with all City of Hobart staff, representing diverse backgrounds and diverse perspectives across the organisation.
Role accountabilities include:
Develop and implement a Workplace Inclusion and Wellbeing Framework.Coordinate initiatives to enhance staff wellbeing and inclusion.Advise and support leaders on diversity, equity, inclusion, and wellbeing.Collaborate on culture transformation, workforce planning, leadership development, succession planning, and employee engagement.This role would be ideal for a Diversity and Inclusion practitioner, who is interested in working across the diversity spectrum with a specific focus on the dynamics that are created when people from diverse backgrounds interact. The role will assist the OD Principal and organisational leaders in shaping an organisational culture where consideration, adaptation and accommodation are the foundation for inclusion and overall wellbeing. Qualifications: Diploma level qualification or higher in Organisational Development, Community Development, Sociology, Psychology, Adult Education, Human Resource Management, Business, or a related field.Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of diversity and inclusion principles.Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.Current Driver's Licence.About usThe City of Hobart offers something for everyone, with connections between nature, history, culture, businesses, and each other.
