Role The Inclusion Administration Assistant is an education support class position and a member of our College Inclusion Team. 
The College Inclusion team collaborate with educators, Allied Health services, NDIS providers, families and students to develop a profile of support for those students identified as having additional needs. The Inclusion team capture the interventions and adjustments that are in place to support the student and their individual needs to create a profile that will support Tier 3 funding applications for students.
The Inclusion Administrator will work closely with the College Inclusion Leader and Campus Inclusion Support Coordinators to provide support with disability inclusion documentation, SSG scheduling and to schedule NDIS therapists and other allied health bookings across our P-8 campuses.
An experienced employee at range 1 will exercise limited judgment within clearly defined guidelines and well established practices that relate specifically to the tasks performed.
An education support class position supports the educational services being provided to students, but must not include duties of teaching as defined in clause 2.6.1 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic) or its successor. Supervision of students cannot be required except where it is an integral part of the employee's position or involves supervision of students individually or in small groups, in controlled circumstances, where the responsibility for students remains clearly with a teacher.
Qualification requirements do not operate at range 1. Certification requirements may be required to legally perform specific tasks - e.g. driver's license, first aid, safe food handling.
Responsibilities Roles and responsibilities: College wide Undertake clerical and keyboard duties in support of the school administration function. Select and use equipment in accordance with school procedures and manufacturer's instructions Maintain, enter and retrieve data from the schools computer system and applications Maintain and update basic written records Make appointments, room bookings and scheduling for DET and external Allied Health providers Understand school processes and aligning with NDIS Xuno Digital Platform- Uploading specialist reports and health professional documentation Scheduling and supporting Student Support Group Meetings (SSGs) Attend weekly meetings with Inclusion Support Coordinator to plan key tasks Who May Apply Individuals with the aptitude, experience and/or qualifications to fulfill the specific requirements of the position.

The college also boasts a Family and Early Learning Centre and the Geelong Industry Trade Training Centre (GITTC) on our Goldsworthy site.

Additionally, the College Assistant Principal ¿ Student Enrichment Programs leads a portfolio that includes oversight of programs that connect students with further educational opportunities as well as providing executive leadership to College facilities including the Family and Early Learning Centre and the GITTC.
The College is very well supported by a strong team working to implement a college wide, sustainable Inclusion Team structure that consists of specialised teachers and education support staff, including a College Inclusion Leader, Inclusion Support Coordinators, Mental Health Wellbeing Leaders (Years P-6), Inclusion Workers and an Inclusion Administration Assistant. The Inclusion Team works closely with the College Nurse, College Wellbeing Team, mentor teachers, education support staff, CALD staff, Allied Health practitioners and DET Student Support Services.
