Work in paradise building itineraries and selling Whitsunday experiences to holidaymakers!
We're looking for somebody who thrives in a bustling and fun work environment with excellent people skills.Initially, you will start with a minimum of 20 hours a week as a casual, with the potential to build your hours and career with us as a full-time team member.
Saturday and Sunday shifts are a must (weekend rates apply) along with a couple of mid-week shifts too.
You will be based solely in our Airlie Beach store as a seller and travel consultant to our busy clientele base.We are looking for a long-term employee who plans on staying in Airlie Beach for the next couple of years.
Remote work in the future is absolutely a possibility for the right candidate!Your ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities as an in-shop travel consultant will include:General customer serviceTouting and tour salesAdmin and data entrySpeaking with representatives and operatorsReturning emails and phone callsCash handlingOpening and closing of the storeRestocking and stickering brochuresGeneral housekeeping dutiesFlexibility, an engaging demeanour and marketing skills are important traits to excel in this position.
Good local knowledge and typing skills are definite bonuses for the right candidate.As a local travel consultant, you will be required to work closely with our customers, building, selling and helping travellers design their dream getaways!
