You will report to the Director of Restaurants and Bars.
You will be responsible for:
Taking accountability and effectively managing the In Room Dining in conjunction with the Restaurant Leader.Being knowledgeable of and operating within appropriate outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.Maintaining currency of RSA certification, amendments and updates and adhere to RSA principles.Assisting in reaching the financial goals for the Food and Beverage department.Creating a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service and ensuring all staff engage guests to understand their needs and exceed expectations.Preparing weekly rosters and consistently monitoring labour costs to remain within financial budget.Implementing new company policies and procedures by developing plans and instructing staff.Identifying and delegating responsibilities to Team Leaders and staff to ensure objectives are met and excellent service is consistently achieved.Providing direction to shift leaders and staff to achieve restaurant goals.Ensuring that the Restaurant and In Room Dining areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.Consistently reviewing operations and staff to identify any problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.Providing coaching and feedback to managers and staff and assessing performance on an ongoing basis.Maintaining a good working relationship with the kitchen team and other departments.Qualifications Having the attitude and willingness to undertake further development with Sofitel and House Made Hospitality."Is there for others"Takes personal responsibilityIs a good personDrives to improveBrings positive energyAdditional Information The best part about working for Sofitel Sydney Wentworth & House Made Hospitality Generous group discounts from both partners from day 1Daily delicious team mealsStrong professional development & career progressionWorking with and learning from some of the industry's best of the best.A positive and caring culture.
