Job Description
In-Room Dining Server This position is for a passionate individual with a strong desire to offer the best in-room dining experience to our guests. Early morning shifts starting at 6am.
What you will be doing: Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceProvide the best in-room dining experience while interacting with guestsAssist as server in other venues when neededAssist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way over the phoneShifts include early mornings, weekends, and holidays. May have to work evening shifts periodically.Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standardsHave full knowledge of beverage lists, promotions, menu items, contents, and preparation methodsFollow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beveragesAdhere to payment and cash handling proceduresOther duties as assigned Qualifications
Your experience and skills include: Previous experience as server in luxury setting an assetExcellent communication and organizational skillsFull professional working proficiency in spoken English required, both verbal and non-verbalComputer literacy required for all new and ongoing training programs conducted virtuallyStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesProven ability to resolve guest concernsHighly responsible & reliablePrevious point of sale system experience an assetOf legal age to serve alcoholFood handler & TABC certifications requiredAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment, and without supervisionAbility to multi task and work cohesively as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesPhysical aspects of the position include but are not limited to: Endure various physical movements throughout the work areasConstant standing and walkingExert physical effort in carrying items (up to 40 pounds)Frequent lifting, kneeling, pushing, and pullingOccasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and rampsVisa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
